    Human Centered Design – a critical competence used by the most innovative companies. Design thinking is a unique form of inquiry that provides a proven problem-solving process that can achieve amazing results. Most of the most innovative companies in the world such as Apple, Google and P&G require their technical staff to be competent in and use design thinking methods to help solve their project challenges. Human Centered Design concepts and methods have wide applicability that goes way beyond product innovation and can be used to design organizations of people, information structures, compensation systems as well as the entire consumer experience. The logic of this approach can sometimes solve “wicked problems” which have defied previous solutions. Learn about its principles in this interactive webinar.
     

    About the Presenter: Prof. Peter Koen

    Dr. Koen is a tenured associate professor in the School of Business. He is currently the director of the Consortium for Corporate Entrepreneurship, which he founded in 1998 to significantly increase the number, speed and success probability of highly profitable products and services at the front end of innovation — the discovery portion of the innovation process. Current consortium members include Ethicon (a division of Johnson and Johnson), ExxonMobil and P&G.
