New Ph.D. Student Orientation

New Ph.D. Student Orientation is held on campus every August for all new Ph.D. students. The program is designed to prepare you to serve in your new position by introducing you to Stevens’ unique culture, sharing relevant policies, procedures, and expectations, and connecting you with key contacts on campus.

Throughout the day-long program, you will meet and learn from faculty, staff, and current Ph.D. students about the many resources that are available to support you on this journey. You will also have a unique opportunity to tour several laboratories that are typically not open to the public, to learn about the cutting-edge research that is being done at Stevens. You will receive a more detailed agenda as the event approaches, along with instructions on where to park and how to navigate to the orientation room.

Please note that all new Ph.D. students are expected to attend New Ph.D. Student Orientation. If you have an extenuating circumstance that may make you unable to attend, please email doctoralsupport@stevens.edu as soon as possible.
