    Virtual Lecture: Industry Applications in Supply Chain Analytics

    This virtual lecture, given by Stevens' leading supply chain expert, will highlight industry application projects in the area of supply chain analytics. Supply chain analytics refers to improvements in operational efficiency and effectiveness through data-driven decisions at the strategic, operational and tactical levels. It encompasses virtually the complete value chain — sourcing, manufacturing, distribution and logistics.

    About the Presenter

    Dr. Alkis Vazacopoulos is a professor in the School of Business and an expert in business analytics and optimization. He consults with Fortune 500 companies in finance, marketing, technology and retail, helping them to better manage their operations so they aren’t caught off guard in a crisis. He also teaches courses in supply chain management that are highly sought at companies in the pharma, financial services and telecommunications industries.
